We seek performing artists to organize benefit shows, readings, workshops
and other events at CSMA and other venues. You'll raise funds by
accepting donations at the door, or combine with crowdfunding.
Schedule your event now at a CSMA space – or host it in your living room,
on campus, outdoors, or at your favorite entertainment hotspot!
Work independently and enlist sponsors
We love when artists embrace the Marathon as an opportunity to
create a body of work, get back into making art, or otherwise achieve
a creative goal or milestone. Just a few examples: finish or start
a piece or a series; work in the studio every day; create a poem or a drawing or a song a day. You'll fundraise by reaching out to family
and friends, asking them to donate in honor of your project either
directly, by crowdfunding, or both.
Donate visual art, music, literature, goods, and services
Donating quality items is an easy one-step way to participate!
Each item will include a description and photo or logo, and a link to
your website. Donated visual art will also be displayed at CSMA.
Contact email@example.com. Item donation deadline: Oct. 26.
Raise funds and awareness online
Working with GiveGab, a local crowdfunding platform,
artists and arts patrons can champion CSMA's online
Marathon campaign and raise money to support our goals.
You'll share our campaign page with friends and family
by email and social media to actively encourage donations.
Our campaign will go live on October 23 and continue until December 7
– that's two weeks before until two weeks after the Marathon.
Take a look at
www.givegab.com. Our team will gladly help you
to employ this great tool to raise funds for CSMA!

About CSMA's Arts for All Marathon
The Arts for All Marathon is our annual fundraising event that creates new opportunities for all aspiring artists in our community. For two exciting weeks CSMA artists organize events, exhibit in our gallery, work on independent projects, generate support via crowdfunding, and contribute to our online auction, all with the goal of keeping CSMA's education programs accessible to artists from all backgrounds. These efforts help us provide scholarships to anyone and everyone with a desire to learn and create in our downtown space.
Since its inception in 2008, the Marathon has raised over $120,000 to support this mission. Join us this year to contribute to our goal of raising $40,000 for the 8th annual Arts for All Marathon!
